In order to find a person in the census you may need to know the enumeration district (ED) in which the person lived. There are many resources available for determining the ED. A useful tool for obtaining EDs in large cities is the one-step 1930 ED Finder.

The tool on the current page will help you determine EDs anywhere in the country, large city or not. It does so by giving you the boundary descriptions or political/geographical names of each of the 120,105 EDs nationwide.
